For many customers, Google is one of the first places they'll look. A Google Business Profile is free and can help your business appear in Google Search and Maps, showing customers where you are, when you're open, what you offer and how to get in touch.

As part of Coffs Ahead, 6 Degrees and the City of Coffs Harbour are offering eligible local businesses a free one-hour, one-on-one Google Business Profile Health Check.

What you'll get

This is practical, hands-on support tailored to your business.

Maggie Holley from JumpStart Matrix will come to your business and work with you directly on your Google Business Profile.

During your one-hour session, you'll take a deep dive into your existing listing and look at practical ways to:

  • improve how your business appears on Google
  • make sure your key business information is accurate and up to date
  • better showcase your products, services and what makes your business unique
  • improve your photos, business description and other profile content
  • understand the information customers are looking for
  • explore ways to improve your visibility in Google Search and Maps
  • make better use of the free features available through your Google Business Profile.

You'll leave with practical recommendations specific to your business and a clearer understanding of how to manage your profile moving forward.

Who is it for?

The free sessions are open to active businesses located within the Coffs Harbour LGA.

Places are limited, with priority given to businesses located within the Coffs Harbour CBD and Pacific Highway corridor.

These areas are a particular focus as we prepare for changes associated with the Coffs Harbour Bypass. Strengthening your online presence now can help ensure customers can continue to discover your business as travel patterns and the way people move through Coffs Harbour change.

Businesses outside these priority areas are still encouraged to register their interest.

How it works

1. Register your interest
Complete the short form and tell us a little about your business and your current Google Business Profile.

2. Maggie will be in touch
If you're allocated a session, Maggie will contact you directly to arrange a suitable time to visit your business.

3. Receive your one-hour Health Check
Maggie will work through your Google Business Profile with you, identify opportunities and help you make the most of your presence on Google.

4. Follow-up
You'll receive a follow-up email with information to help you continue working on your profile. We'll also send you a short feedback survey to hear how you found the session.

  • a website review
  • a general marketing strategy session
