A practical business workshop to help you understand your numbers, protect your profit and prepare for what’s ahead.

Your business deserves more than guesswork.

Running a business has never been more challenging. Rising costs, changing customer behaviour, new regulations and major projects like the Coffs Harbour Bypass are all influencing how local businesses operate. Knowing what to do next isn’t always obvious.

Mind Your Business is a practical, interactive workshop designed to cut through the noise and focus on the decisions that matter most.

What we’ll cover

Where’s the Money Going?
Discover where your business is really making money, where it’s leaking it and why being busy doesn’t always mean being profitable.

Profit Under Pressure
Learn practical ways to protect your margins, navigate rising operating costs and understand what changes to credit card surcharge rules could mean for your business.

Beyond the Bypass
Explore the opportunities and challenges ahead, and how to position your business for a changing local economy.

Then it’s over to you

The second half of the workshop is shaped by the room.

Using live audience voting, you’ll choose the questions, scenarios and business challenges you’d most like to explore with Sarah.

You’ll leave with practical ideas, greater confidence in your decision making and a clearer understanding of how to navigate some of the challenges and opportunities facing your business.

No fluff, no jargon, just practical conversations about better business.

Session 2: 5:00pm – 6:30pm

Business @ Yarrila, Level 1
Yarrila Place
27 Gordon Street, Coffs Harbour

Your Presenter:

Sarah Eifermann, Helix Planning

Professional overthinker. Specialised problem solver. Recovering commercial finance tragic.

If you’ve ever heard someone say, “Sarah asks really annoying questions,” they’re probably already one of her clients.

The thing is, those questions usually uncover the answer.

For more than 20 years, Sarah has helped businesses untangle messy problems, make smarter commercial decisions and stop confusing being busy with being profitable.

She doesn’t do fluff, motivational speeches or 147-slide PowerPoints. She asks good questions, explains complex ideas in plain English and has an annoying habit of making people see their business differently.

If you leave this workshop with more questions than you arrived with, don’t panic. That’s usually where the best business decisions begin.

Coffs Ahead:

Coffs Ahead is a City of Coffs Harbour initiative providing free, practical support to help local businesses prepare for what’s ahead.
