Session 1:

Lifecycle of a Psychological Injury Claim

Presented by David Huxley - icare Relationship Manger, North Coast; and Ben Neville – icare Mental Health Lead, Claims Operations

During this session we will talk through what to expect following a workplace psychological injury. You will hear about the various stages of a claim, as well as be provided with tips for the best ways to respond and support both your injured worker and workforce.

You will learn how different approaches to a claim by an employer can lead to very different outcomes and what to expect during the claims journey.

Session 2:

Local Employer Experience - a practical guide on creating a safety culture within your business presented by Chris Lawrence, WHS & Facilities Coordinator - Infracraft.

• Overview of the NSW Code of Practice

• National Harmonised Model Legislation amendment to include Psych in the Regulations

• What’s next for NSW

• What does it mean for business
