Jetty Revitalisation

Published on 26 April 2022

You’re invited to hear what’s been happening on the Community-led Master Plan for the Coffs Harbour Jetty Foreshore’s Precinct

Building on previous work undertaken; over the past 15 months, Property and Development NSW (PDNSW), part of the Department of Planning and Environment, has been undertaking consultation on a community-led Master Plan for the revitalisation and activation of the Coffs Harbour Jetty Foreshore Precinct.

A Project Advisory Steering Committee (PSAC) comprising of representatives of Coffs Harbour City Council, community, Indigenous custodian, and business representatives have provided input to the revisions to the proposed Vision and Place Principles to support the engagement process and the development of the DRAFT Master Plan.

Following the detailed analysis of feedback received in Phase 1, the project team has prepared a DRAFT Master Plan that will guide a future Planning Proposal and precinct revitalisation over the short, medium, and long term.

You are invited to hear from representatives of PD-NSW on what’s been proposed in the DRAFT Master Plan.

The DRAFT Masterplan has been developed from what has come from the community so far, but it’s still only a concept. There’s still flexibility for how a final Master Plan might look – and PDNSW is keen to hear from members and the community what you do and don’t like about the draft.

We strongly encourage you to attend this event, so you are well informed and have the opportunity as part of the community to play a leading role in shaping the future of the Coffs Harbour Jetty Foreshore Precinct.
